hi nyco.

it is 69 days to our concert.
nyco concert is once every two years.
which means that in your 4 years in nyco,
the largest possible number of time you can perform in nyco concert is TWICE.
if your first concert is sec2, your last one is in sec4.
if you are damn freaking good, your first concert is sec1 and your last is sec3.
i am not saying that you cannot come back and perform for alumni item.
but the thing is that...do you still have the time?
will you still feel the same as when you are in nygh and promoting for your own cca concert.
asking your friends to come and support.
when your friends ask you,
'why go nyco concert? very ex leh! very good meh?'
this kind of questions.
i wonder what will you all answer them.
for me,
if they ask me that,
i will tell them
'of course it is good! come and watch and listen to us. i confirm you that it will be damn freaking good.'
maybe i will even add in 'and i am performing!'

let me ask all of you.
who wish to tell your friends that nyco's standard is damn lousy now.
don't waste your money.
cause our music like shit.
or even saying that 'you will defintely fall asleep.'

I DON'T WANT TO SAY THAT TO MY FRIENDS.

if you think that concert is still damn far away,
you are totally wrong
it is 3 weeks to end of term 2.
4 weeks of holiday.
and the 3rd week of term 3 is our concert!

all of us are tired when there are pracs 3 times a week.
now that blocks are over,
and the next block is after our concert,
why can't we just TREASURE ALL our pracs?!
why can't we just PAY ATTENTION during ALL our pracs?!
why can't we just put in MORE EFFORT in practicing before ALL our pracs?!
why can't we just keep stop doing so much of our own stuffs and listen to the conductor durong ALL our pracs?
we are all going to get our holiday scheduele soon...
dazu pracs countdown will start.
we are countdowing and days...
and it already seems so near to some of us already.

it is tiring.
SLs keep nagging at us to practice,
our dear pres and v-pres keep reminding us to treasure all practices.
conductors hoping that our next practice will be better.
this are all because they are worried.
worried of whether we can really be up to our standard on the 17 july.
nyco = triple GWH sch.
think about their worries.
think about our concert.
think about what YOU can do to make this concert a successful one.
if you are tired,
what about the comm?
what about our teachers-in-charge?
what about our conductors?
so...

nyco.
let's all work hard towards 17 july.
let's all work hard so that we can tell people that we are good .
let's all work hard such that we can PROMISE people that we are good.
let's all work hard to show all those people who paid to watch us that we are good.
because nyco is good.
we are simply awesome
provided that we all work hard.

last but not least,
don't stop loving nyco.
it's the love for nyco that keeps us all together.

i don't know if all these that i say apply to everyone.
but,
continue to love nyco,
continue to work hard
and we will make our concert a successful one.
